Trip Description:

We will be staying for 8 days and 7 nights on the quiet East End of Grand Cayman at the Morritt's Tortuga Club. Accommodations include a 1 bedroom condomium style poolside unit (based upon double occupancy). The units have a kitchen, a patio or balcony, and a sofa bed in the living room (with a maximum occupancy of 4 per unit). This beachfront resort amenities include: beach and dock with snorkeling access, multiple pools, on-site spa and fitness center, tennis court, and on-site restaurant and bar options.
We will be diving with Silver Thatch Water Sports (formerly White Sand Diving). Our diving will focus on the more pristine East End dive sites with over 70 sites to choose from based upon conditions. We will also travel to the West End to dive on the 251 ft. USS Kittiwake, a former submarine rescue vessel. Its most notable service was in the diligent recovery of the Challenger Space Shuttle. The ship sits on a sandy bottom in 65 feet of water. Puffers, horse-eye jacks, eagle rays, turtles, and green moray eels inhabiting the wreck. There are five decks to explore, including the fly bridge and the recompression chamber.
